Hi, My name is Rachel Zeigler and I am a proud licensed
cosmetologist in three states: California, North Carolina,
and New York. I became a Cosmetologist due to my
passion for all things beauty, serving others and making
others feel good! I've had a passion for beauty for as long
as I can recall, like making unique skincare masks at my
10th birthday party or requesting barbie doll heads for
Christmas repeatedly for the chance to practice my craft
of hair styling, cutting and hair coloring (with markers of
course!)

After earning my Communications Degree from
Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina in
2013, I took some time to explore and finally decided to
pursue a career in the Beauty industry.

In 2015 I enrolled at Aveda Institute South and earned my certificate
in Cosmetology Science in 2016. Ever since then I've
emerged in the beauty industry working on sets all over Los
Angeles, while learning make up, hair removal, and skincare
along the way. I've had the pleasure of working for brands
such as Sephora, Ulta, Wella, Dp Hue, and Pattern Beauty to
name a few!

In 2020 when the beauty world shut down, I was able to pivot into a space of skincare and that is when Naked Chemistry Skincare was born. There was a need for vegan, sustainable, and effective skincare that helped to care for dry skin, dark spots, and irritated skin. Which all happen to occur to some after hair removal AKA ingrown hairs. I wanted something for myself because ingrowns have plagued me since I began removing hair. I wanted something that wasn't over drying my skin or just an oil that would sit on top of my skin. I wanted something that was effective, something that was made with clean ingredients and wouldn't harm my body in the long run; while being sustainable for the planet!

From all this Naked Chemistry Skincare was born in April 2020 and launched November 1st, 2020!

Meet Rachel.
